Bio

Mandarin Wu is a performer, director, choreographer, and educator based in NYC. As a performer, her favorite credits include: Pan Asian Rep's A Dream of Red Pavilions (off-Broadway), Follies (Dance Captain, Astoria Performing Arts Center), Metropolitan Opera (dancer). She gave a special appearance performance for Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen on her 2019 US tour NYC visit.

Mandarin's directing and choreographic credits for musicals include: Legally Blonde (National ChiaYi University of Taiwan), Helen (Pan Asian Rep staged reading), Rapunzel (NAAP’s Discover showcase), Eastbound (NYTB Readings & Choreography Lab), and Romance of the Western Chamber (off-off-Broadway run). 

She holds an MFA in Dance from NYU Tisch, and a BA in Dance from UC Irvine. She is an adjunct of the Musical Theatre Program at Marymount Manhattan College.
